Mix together:
1½ cups white sugar, ½ cup shortening
Add 1 egg
Add 2 cups flour, 1 tsp. soda, 1 tsp. cinnamon, ¾ tsp. salt
Add 1 cup milk which you add 1 tsp. vinegar
Add
2 cups chopped rhubarb and stir by hand.
Pour in greased 9 x 13 inch glass pan.
Topping:
3 tsp sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon stirred together.
Bake:
350°F for about 45 minutes
