Our Mission
The mission of the Canadian Friends of Finland (Ottawa), or CFF, is to help
strengthen and enrich the relations between Canada and Finland at the levels of
individuals, and of social, cultural and educational groups. Through the various
activities it organises for its members, the CFF provides a network of contacts
among Canadians interested in Finland.
CFF (Ottawa) has among its stated objectives:
- to develop, promote and encourage friendly relations between the peoples
of Finland and Canada and to foster and extend friendly relations among
individuals interested in Finnish-Canadian relations;
- to provide a network of contacts among Canadians interested in Finland
by encouraging and sponsoring social, cultural and educational events;
- to work as an intermediary between Canadian and Finnish cultural,
academic and scientific groups and to provide contacts for their members,
and
- to co-operate with other organizations having similar objectives.
