News from the Board (January 2011)

Dear Members,

Now that we are into the new year, we have planned some CFF events to help keep you entertained during the rest of the winter. We hope you can support us in our effort to claim the bowling trophy, and that you will join us in our celebration of St. Urho.

We have made some changes in individual Board Members' responsibilities to better align their availability and our needs. Connie Whitmore has resumed the position of newsletter editor. CFF Member Peter Forrest has assumed the responsibilities of Webmaster for our new site. Martti Lahtinen has taken on the challenge of organizing our annual Bowling Tournament and leading our CFF team in its quest for the trophy.

I would like to remind you that the new calendar year means that it is time to renew your membership. It can be done online at our website. If you are receiving this newsletter and are not yet a member of the CFF, please join us! Membership fees help to support our events and communications with our membership.
